Ambiya Mountain
Retreat we also have a number of organic vegetable plots
that have been developed and tended by residential staff and volunteers
alike. It has taken us a lot of time to prepare the soil, plant different
types of produce and to learn what works best, where and for how long
each season. The Mountain Retreat's altitude is a lot greater than at
Ramana's Garden in Tapovan, Rishikesh so it has been an entirely new
learning process for us at the mountain retreat.
As
a result of this hard work all of the staff, students and orphans consume
the freshest possible food around. And for you as a visitor, you also
get to enjoy fresh, wholesome organic vegetables for every meal.
